After spending a quiet winter reading by the fire, it is time to get out of doors and do the backyard sugarbush. Taps were started 5 March and are slowly dripping. Temperatures are expected to rise by the 12th and we will be in operation.
OPEN HOUSE - 13 March till mid Feb, any day except rain days.
As in previous years I invite everybody and anybody to join in the experience. I would be happy to teach you all I know... and show you the book I learned it in! Its easy and fun.
New for this year is the Northumberland Small Farm Collective where Andrew Vokes, Dana Smith, Andrew Keough and myself will be working together to bring high quality organic produce to market. I will post the markets and events as the season unfolds...
We have; eggs, seedlings, veggies, maple, preserves, mushrooms, fruit, flowers, herbs and more. All local, all tasty.
